On October 31st and November 1st there will be a Splash Dogs Dock Jumping competition in Caplitola at 809 Bay Ave. Robin and I will be competing both days. They always encourage new jumpers as long as your dog will jump into a pool following a ball or whatever it is they cannot resist. They will even show you how to do it during practice time. The dog that jumps the longest wins. The charge is 20.00 for each wave, you get two jumps for each wave. You win a Ribbon if your dog places...... You can sign up ahead of time at Splashdogs.com or just show up. Most of the jumpers are Labradors (go figure) so I thought this would be a great idea for a Meet up.
